The Future Of The Music Industry

Remember the "Chocolate Rain" guy? He's back with a remix to Chocolate Rain endorsed by Dr. Pepper.

His video/ extended commercial has more views than Snoop Dogg's Sensual Seduction video premiere (backed by Universal)

Vaneli Pix: Celebrity Makeovers

As an artist, I am always faced with the challenge of creating an image that is consistent with my music while staying true to who I am as a person. Over the years we've seen many artists, from Christina Aguilera to Pink to Alicia Keys change their personal style and image as they have evolved as artists.

Remember the song by India Arie "I Am Not My Hair"? Ironically, most image makeovers start from the head first. Below are some of my favorite (and not so favorite) hair makeovers from female artists and actresses.

Alicia Keys On The Tyra Banks Show

Alicia Keys recently went on the Tyra Banks show and talked about personal issues that almost caused her to have a nervous breakdown and eventually going to Eygpt alone. I heart Alicia!

Paris Legging Mishap

I was browsing the net earlier and realized alot of celebs are wearing leggings this season. Lindsey Lohan and Cassie were some of my favorites. Although, I cringed at the thought, I took the plunge and wore a pair of black leggings with a shirt to promote my new single at Chris Brown's album release party last month.

Paris Hilton is so cute. I came across a pic of her in a lingerie top and pantyhose and I truly believe she had every intention on wearing black leggings with that top.

Always Be Paparazzi Ready

As an up and coming singer, someone once told me to "always be paparazzi ready". I always thought, is it that serious? geez! Can I grab some pancakes in my baseball cap?

And to think people get paid big bucks to capture a pic of a celebrity dining with no make up and a mouth full of food. Boo!

Rihanna still rocks
